Can Arousal Oils Help You Have a Lot More Sex?

Can Arousal Oils Help You Have a Lot More Sex?

I tried seven of them to find out

I was fascinated by arousal oils even when my sex drive was still incredibly active.

I tend to lose control when I get extremely horny. I feel really uninhibited. I become highly suggestible. I’ll do just about anything.

And I absolutely fucking love it.

It’s one of the best feelings in the world. Being so turned on that I say yes to almost anything makes me feel free. It makes everything seem ten times more exciting. And it makes my sexually submissive side extremely happy.

That’s why I bought some when I was still young and hormonal. I was permanently in the mood to fuck, but I wanted to be even more aroused than that.

I wanted to be completely overwhelmed with desire. I wanted the kind of horniness that feels like a headrush. I wanted to be pliable that I’d give myself over to my partner completely and let him have his way with me.

As soon as I could, I got my hands on a small tin of arousal cream.

I pictured myself getting breathlessly horny and panting until I practically passed out. I imagined myself eagerly undressing and feeling all the different ways my partner would touch and fuck me. I imagined feeling like a good girl when he told me what to do and all I could think to do is say yes and comply.

Unfortunately, it didn’t work out that way.

My clit tingled as soon as I dabbed the cream on it. I took that as a good sign - it meant it was working.

It was working way too much, though. The tingling turned into a cooling sensation. And that quickly turned into an intense, sharp cold on my clit.

It was so uncomfortable I had to wash it off.

After that disappointing experience, I threw out the cream and figured my desire to get some kind of magic horny potion would have to just be a fantasy and nothing more.

Ten years later, I started looking into them again. This time, for another reason completely.

I was still really into the idea of getting so horny that it makes me putty in my partner’s hands.

But I wanted something a lot simpler than that. I just wanted to get turned on.

My sex drive had slowed down. I could go weeks without wanting to have sex. I wasn’t in a sexless marriage anymore but I wasn’t fucking nearly as often as I wanted to.

I missed having sex frequently. I missed the connection and the excitement that came from being a really sexually active couple.

Most of all, I missed feeling aroused. Never being in the mood was starting to get old.

I tried a few things but they weren’t as reliable as I hoped.

Watching porn was consistently entertaining but it didn’t always manage to get me in the mood - or keep me in it long enough.

Date nights were great for feeling connected and cozy, but they often ended with us eating dessert instead of Mr. Austin eating me out.

And long, sensual massages made me feel relaxed and very physically stimulated, but I would still turn down happy endings.

Maybe arousal oils were the secret to getting me where I really wanted to be.

I had more modest goals now. I didn’t have to be putty in my husband’s hands - I just wanted to get fucked more often.

I tried a few here and there, but lately I decided to conduct a little experiment to see just how well they could work.

I waited until I was having a low arousal week and I tried seven different arousal products to see if they could get me turned on and help me have more sex.

Here’s how it went.

Lip Tease Kissable Stimulant

I’m not going to lie - I tried the Lip Tease because of the packaging. I just love the color, the lettering, and everything about it. It’s cute and I’m a sucker for cute.

But I’m glad I gave it a shot because I really enjoyed using this one.

The first time I tried it, I wasn’t in the mood at all. In fact, I was downright out of the mood. Too preoccupied to think about sex and pretty indifferent to it whenever it did cross my mind.

But then I dabbed some of the Lip Tease on my clit and it completely changed my attitude.

It gave me a cooling sensation, which I found surprisingly pleasant. I was expecting it to make my clit throb, but it didn’t. Instead, it kind of tingled.

Even without the throbbing, it worked. I went from having no interest in doing anything dirty to being kind of horny. Not shoving my hands down my pants horny. Not texting Mr. Austin so he can come bang my brains out horny. But frisky - like I could go for some dick if the opportunity presented itself.

So, I tried it again later that night once the opportunity did present itself.

The effects had worn off by then. I wanted sex but wasn’t feeling the desire for it.

That changed when I applied the Lip Tease again.

I was in the mood, so I listened to some audio porn and waited for my husband to join me in bed. By the time he joined me, I was worked up and ready.

He put the moves on me, but he barely had to. I was already breathing heavily, melting under his touch, and waiting for him to escalate.

I went from not being aroused at all to knowing for sure I was going to have sex - and all it took was a dab of oil.

So yeah, this was a definite success.

One interesting thing about the Lip Tease is that it’s flavored. It’s “wild watermelon” but I can’t say I care for the taste. It left me feeling like I had just swished some medicine in my mouth.

It’s definitely not a substitute for flavored lube. But I suppose if you were going to eat someone out after they had applied some arousal oil, maybe it’s better to get a bit of artificial watermelon flavor instead of the plain taste of the product.

But the taste might end up being totally irrelevant. I asked my husband what he thought of it and he didn’t have an opinion. By the time he went down on me, there had been so much fingering and wet pussy rubbing that there wasn’t enough of it left for him to taste.

On Arousal Gel: Ice

The first thing I noticed when I put the On Arousal Gel is just how strong it felt. It wasn’t a gentle tingling like I got from the Lip Tease.

It promises a cooling and buzzing sensation, but what it really gave me was a strong, intense throbbing. It felt almost like my clit was being pinched - gently and softly, but impossible to ignore.

That intensity was a little much for me, but it also did the trick. Once it was on, I couldn’t get my mind off the sensation in my underwear, which meant I couldn’t stop thinking about sex.

Before I put it on, I was good. I had sex the night before and I was still feeling satisfied. I was looking forward to an evening of cuddles but I didn’t think they would lead to anything.

Once the On Arousal Gel was on my clit, though, I was getting a little breathy and I felt ready to fuck.

The sensation was really strong and my desire was growing, too. This gel is powerful stuff. It most certainly works, but I would use it sparingly - rubbing too much on a sensitive clit could result in discomfort instead of lots of throbbing and horny thoughts.

Jo for Her 12 Volt Clitoral Stimulant

This one gives me a warm sensation and it feels like my clit is being tugged gently and throbbing slightly.

It’s definitely not as intense as the On, but it results in a calm, chill kind of horniness. It’s not like I couldn’t stop thinking about sex, but it did put me in a very good, receptive mindset. And I love being in that headspace.

When I took it, I was having one of those days when sex feels completely improbable. I was feeling overworked and tired. I had a headache that painkillers couldn’t tame. I just wanted to check out, give myself some comfort, and then fall asleep.

But the 12 Volt turned that around. It didn’t make me pantingly horny, but it did make me feel open to whatever. I dabbed it on and sex was back on the menu.

The only downside to it is what happened during the sex itself.

The 12 Volt is an arousal product, but it also enhances stimulation. And it enhanced it a bit too much.

After putting it on, Mr. Austin gave me a pussy massage. Normally, that’s an activity with a slow buildup. It starts off with softer, more subtle stimulation and works its way to more of a steady rhythm. It’s the way that it’s soft, persistent, and patient that makes it so incredibly pleasurable.

This time, though, it was too much. My pussy felt overstimulated even though my husband was rubbing it softly.

Once the effects wore off, though, it was all good - the sex felt great and I didn’t feel overpowered by the sensations.

So, lesson learned. When I use it again, I’ll time the application so it’s early enough that I get in the mood but wears off by the time I’m actually having sex.

And I will most certainly use it again because apart from being overstimulated I love the way it made me feel - and the results it gave me.

Exsens Raspberry Mint Flavored Cooling Stimulation Gel

This flavored stimulant was definitely minty. And I don’t just mean that it has a minty taste - I meant it felt minty on my pussy. Cooling, but in a strong, fresh kind of way.

That sensation was noticeable, but I wouldn’t say it was super effective. Again, I applied it when I didn’t really have a desire for sex. And unfortunately it didn’t do much to counteract that.

It must have helped at least a bit, because I got the urge to take nude photos once I had applied it. But the effects were a bit too subtle. So, I wound up with a lot of photos of my ass but no urge to get physical.

Oddly, I think it didn’t work well for me because it’s too stimulating. I’m really sensitive, so the cooling effect quickly went from feeling a little thrilling to being distracting in a non-sexy kind of way.

The flavor is a bit fun, but it does remind me of toothpaste, which I personally don’t associate with sex. But like the other flavored arousal ones, the point might not be to have a great flavor - just to have something that tastes better than licking unflavored gel off a pussy.

Dame Arousal Serum

I’ve enjoyed Dame products before and I like the way they’re designed. The one thing I find really off-putting about them, though, is their packaging.

I know that doesn’t really matter, but I’m a real sucker for cute stuff. I 100% judge books according to their covers, and Dame’s covers are the opposite of cute.

The boxes they come in look like they’re designed to not attract too much attention. You could stick them on the shelf of a pharmacy between the muscle relaxers and Polysporin and it would fit in just fine.

But if you can get past the dull packaging, their Arousal Serum is actually quite good.

The sensation is warming, which was a real relief after spending the previous day using one that was too cool for my taste.

It didn’t make my clit throb but it did feel like there was more blood flowing to my pussy. Instead of being concentrated to the clit, the sensations were spread throughout my vulva.

It also made me very wet - more than the other products I used. So, even though it didn’t fully intensify my desire for sex, it did wonders for my physical arousal. My body was ready for action long before my mind was.

But my mind got there, too. Like the other good arousal oils, it got me from zero to somewhere. And that’s not bad, honestly.

I asked my husband to blindfold me and tease me into submission. With my vision blocked out, I could immerse myself in the moment. It heightened the sensations but also calmed my anxieties - all of which helped me get really aroused and led to plenty of pussyjobs and some hard, long sex that I would have not been able to have if it wasn’t for the serum.

On Arousal Oil

The On Arousal Oil is one that I had used before this little experiment. It worked well enough, so I decided to give it another try and see how it would stack up to the other ones.

It’s a warming one and kind of subtle as long as you don’t put too much of it - I learned that lesson the hard way.

It made my pussy feel warm and tingly. It was noticeable enough that it kept my mind on sex while it was working its magic, but not so strong that it got distracting.

I used that perfect Goldilocks sensation to go and work on a sex toy review. I wore an app-controlled toy and got Mr. Austin to control it for me.

That was exciting already, but the oil made me feel even more excited about it. No hesitations, no second guessing, no worrying about timing - nothing. I just slipped the toy into my pussy and asked him to tease me and make me come.

I really liked that efficiency. It almost made me feel proud. With that oil on my clit, there was no pussyfooting around - just getting down to business and getting off.

Oh Gee G-Spot Gel

The Oh Gee was a bit of a wild card for me. It’s the only one I tried that I needed to apply internally instead of dabbing it on my clit.

It’s also the companion product to the Lip Tease, with the same lovely pink packaging.

I rubbed some of the gel into my G-spot to see what would happen. It didn’t have a strong feeling. It wasn’t making me throb or keeping my attention on my pussy the whole time.

Even though it was a slight feeling, it still had some kind of effect because I got the urge to masturbate after I put it on.

Overall, though, I think of this one as more of a stimulating gel than an arousal product. It definitely did work to get me a bit more aroused but I think it’s really designed to enhance the stimulation and sensation you get from penetration.

The Oh Gee would be a great option for anyone who finds other arousal products too overwhelming or overstimulating. It definitely won’t overwhelm your pussy but it will still get more blood flowing to it and encourage you to get aroused.

A Simple Solution for Extra Sex

The arousal oils don’t work perfectly. They didn’t manage to make me feel extremely horny when I wasn’t feeling into it. They also didn’t always work to get me fully in the mood for sex.

But they’re not just a tingly novelty product, either.

Because I was using them, I had a lot more sex than I would have otherwise. And when I didn’t have sex, I masturbated at times when I probably would’ve just given my pussy a break.

If you’re struggling with a low libido, you’re going to need more than just arousal oils. You’ll need ways to feel sexier. You’ll probably need porn perfectly suited to your tastes or hot erotica to excite your imagination. And you’ll definitely need a partner who can make sex fun, exciting, and pleasurable.

But when you still need that extra boost, these products will definitely get you there.

My personal favorites were the Lip Tease and the Oh Gee. They felt very different, but both of them managed to get my mind exactly where I wanted it to be. And because one is internal and the other is external, you could apply both at once and get incredibly aroused.

I haven’t tried that yet, but I’ll definitely be experimenting with it when I feel like I need to bring out the big guns to get my arousal going.

With the exception of the Lip Tease, I discovered that my pussy tends to respond better to warming products. I think it’s because of how sensitive I am - ladies with a less sensitive clit might get more out of the cooling products.

They’re all fun to use, though. They make you horny and keep your mind on sex. They get your pussy wet and make it feel warm, tingly, or throbby. And they can help you get more stimulation when you’re getting down and dirty.

Dabbing arousal oil on your clit might not make you putty in your partner’s hands - unfortunately. But it will make you think filthy thoughts and have more sex, and that’s still a really good time.
